AZelda: Tears of the Kingdomplayer, who goes by Fvi72_K41U2 on Reddit, posted a video of them triggering a mega barrel bomb to kill Molduga, Black Hinox, Stone Calus, and Flux Construct in just one second each. The bomb must fall a bit or get hit by an enemy attack to deal destructive damage. The clip also shows the player punching on the ground with the Earthquake move, which is a must-have ability that enables players to pulverize baddies without traditional weapons equipped.
Players must wear the full Yiga armor set, find the Yiga Blademaster at the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab, and take on his challenge to defeat six enemies to learn the Earthquake move. The original poster said this bomb costs 63 Zonaite and is useless against Phantom Ganon and Frox due to their mechanics that prevents them from getting one-shot by Link.
Building a mega barrel bomb is not the only way to kill formidable bosses, as players can spam charged cannonballs with a homing chart. Reddit user Ichthus95 discovered a clever trick that lets players blast Yunobo’s avatars forward repeatedly as long as they’re close enough to enemies. However, players must first completeTears of the Kingdom’s Yunobo of Goron City main questto gain the ability to turn these avatars into charged cannonballs.
InTears of the Kingdom, there are infinite ways to have fun in combat, such as using different weapon fusions, creating an armed mech, or shooting enemies with an infused arrow. Thanks to thesandbox nature ofTears of the Kingdom’s Ultrahand ability, players can even build a HIMARS rocket platform to deal destructive damage. This special ability also allows players to make other combat vehicles, such as a guardian stalker or a Zonai laser tank, which give them great maneuverability and protection against regular mobs and bosses.
