A talentedZeldafan has re-created the sword featured on the cover ofZeldaII:TheAdventureofLink. This unique entry intoTheLegendofZeldafranchise was a direct sequel to the originalZeldagame and made its debut in 1988.ZeldaIIwas different from its predecessor featuring a side-scrolling adventure. It is considered one of the more challengingZeldagames to beat, considering players would be sent back to the very beginning should they get a game over. Luckily decades later, with the implementation of save states and speedrun techniques, gamers have been able to conquer this title.
For many avidZeldagamers today,ZeldaIIis often considered one of the most underwhelming sequels. Thankfully, it seems that Nintendo learned from that and gave players an even better game withALinkToThePast.WithBreathoftheWild’s sequel,TearsoftheKingdom, set to release later this year, many fans still show appreciation for some of the more retro entries in this iconic series.

CreativeZeldafan and user weiyan21 recreated the sword known as The Magical Sword using Blender, featured onZeldaII:TheAdventureofLink’s cover box art. Blender is a free, open-source tool used to create 3D models, and Weiyan21 has shown just what unique creations can be brought to life using this software. Other users were equally impressed by the fan art, suggesting it could also be 3D printed. One fan even pointed out they prefer The Magical Sword toThe Master Sword which has appeared in every singleZeldatitleexceptZeldaII.
The Magical Sword’s design is thought to be by some fans as more beautiful and intricate than Link’s trusty Master Sword. Weiyan’s creation also brought back fond memories for some gamers who enjoyed playingZeldaIIgrowing up. Recently another iconic piece of Link’s equipment,the Hylian Shield was recreated in stained glassby another talented fan. With so many different items available throughout all the various games over the years, there are tons of options for creative gamers to choose from to recreate.
