He also mentioned Hamm nearly playing the role inNew Mutantsbefore it was scrapped. “Since Channing Tatum is rumored to play Gambit, figured ‘why not him too?!” the artist added in the caption.
Hamm has long been in talks to play Mister Sinister, and netizens are thrilled about the idea. One said he never thought of the casting and added fire emojis, suggesting that the idea was lit and that he approved it. Several netizens also talked about the same casting on X, formerly Twitter, last year after Hamm said he would be “thrilled” to join the franchise. Many also expressed their excitement at seeing him portraying the role. However, several also said they would prefer him to playFantastic Four villain Doctor Doom, one of the greatest villains in the Marvel franchise.
