To celebrate the new update,World of Warcraftis giving away a full cosmetic ensemble via Twitch Drops. By tuning in and watching four hours ofWorld of Warcrafton any Twitch streamfrom September 5 through September 12, players can get the Dashing Buccaneer’s Slops–a stylish, pirate-themed casual outfit that can be used by any class. Players simply need to link their Twitch and Battle.net accounts, after which the item will be received in-game after claiming it in their Twitch inventories.

ManyrecentWorld of WarcraftTwitch dropshave been discontinued rewards from Recruit a Friend campaigns or the old trading card game. However, the Dashing Buccaneer’s Slops are a cosmetic set that has never been seen before inWorld of Warcraft. That said, players who like the style of this transmog ensemble can purchase the Swashbuckling Buccaneer’s Slops – a red and white recolor of the Twitch Drop – from September’s Trading Post catalog for 650 Traders Tender.

The Dashing Buccaneer’s Slops have nothing to do with the story or theme of Patch 10.1.7, but they do have a lot in common withother recentWorld of Warcraftcosmetics. Several store items, including the new Seafarer Pack bundle and the recent fish mount, share a theme that has led many to wonder if the nextWorld of Warcraftexpansion will be about pirates and high seas adventure.

Players with subscriptions to Amazon Prime have the opportunity to get even more freeWorld of Warcraftitems at the moment. From now through September 28, players can claim the Tabard of Brilliance – a TCG exclusive item that once cost hundreds of dollars – inWorld of Warcraftfor free via Prime Gaming. Players can expect another freebie via Amazon Prime in October once this campaign lapses, and there will likely be more Twitch Drops later this year for Patch 10.2’s release. Exact details for these campaigns and patches are not available yet, but players can expect to learn more soon.
