In theOhn’ahran Plains zone inDragonflight, players can summon a small squad of bakar hunting hounds during the “Part of a Pack” quest. Though players are given a debuff to prevent them from summoning additional dogs, Rextroy discovered the Paladin’s Divine Shield ability, which removes most debuffs from the player, removed this debuff as well. This let him to continuously summon bakar while Divine Shield was up, allowing him to amass over 300 dogs. Eventually, the pack became so large they began to despawn automatically.

That was when Rextroy decided to start having some fun. Accompanied by hundreds of bakar, Rextroy proceeded to hunt down Horde players in War Mode to watch their reactions as a swarm of enemies descended upon them. Each bakar only deals one or two damage a hit, so they present no real threat, but the spectacle was comical nonetheless. Not long after, his friends began to summon bakar packs of their own, and they–and, hilariously, their dogs–flew to theDragonflightcapital city of Valdrakken. Rextroy recorded the reactions of other players as he and his friends literally let the dogs out.

Unfortunately, when the timers elapse, the bakar hounds summoned during this quest collapse and die, rather than simply despawn. This led to hundreds of dead bakar suddenly littering the streets of Valdrakken–a sight as tragic as it was absurd. HopefullyWorld of Warcraftfixes the questto make the bakar peacefully despawn to avoid breaking its fans’ hearts in the future, regardless of whether it fixes the exploit itself.

Nevertheless, players got a kick out of Rextroy’s recent canine shenanigans. The adorable bakar fromDragonflightstole the hearts of fans, and watching hundreds of the good boys line up was simply too adorable. Many rushed to the Ohn’ahran plains to replicate the trick before it gets fixed. Regardless, considering how goodRextroy is at finding exploits inWorld of Warcraft, most players agree that Blizzard should hire Rextroy to do official bug testing for the long-running MMORPG.
