Gotham Knightsstill has quite the road to go before it releases. We’ve been shown a handful of things, mostly gameplay of the four main heroes, and themystery surrounding the Court of Owls. What we haven’t seen, is part of what makes Batman’s lore so interesting: his villains.

We have only been shown snippets of certain villains that await the player inGotham Knights. We hope that the game offers a lot more, as it will be heavily compared to the iconicBatman: Arkham Seriesin every regard. Those games had a high amount of Batman’s rogue gallery and other villains.
10Condiment King, Brings The Silly
Not only is Condiment King regarded asThe Batman’s Robert Pattinson’s favorite Batman villain, but Condiment King makes a good case for a villain that should be in Warner Bros. Montreal’s newest game.
The game follows dark tones, a mystery surrounding Gotham City. The reveal trailer starts with Batman’s death, so it’s going to be a pretty depressing journey through the game as the heroes mourn Batman and seek justice. Condiment King could be the silly break that the serious game needs. A villain that is more annoying than violent. Spraying down civilians and heroes with mustard and ketchup.
9Killer Croc, The Sewer Terror
By having Killer Croc as a villain inGotham Knights, the game allows for a greater horror element to factor in. Although the Court of Owls is creepy enough, by having Killer Croc, there would be an excuse to go below the surface.

Missions could have theGotham Knightsexploring the sewers beneath the streets to find Killer Croc. Fans ofBatman: Arkham Asylumwould remember the terrifying segments of being in Croc’s Arkham lair, andGotham Knightscould replicate that same feeling.
8Deathstroke, The Terminator
Slade Wilson is an elite mercenary that has had multiple run-ins with Batman and the Batfamily. With Batman gone, the greatest threat to Deathstroke The Terminator has left Gotham City open for easy contracts.
By including Deathstroke, a new threat is added to Gotham City. Characters like Nightwing have a strong history with Deathstroke, and it would be great to see that adapted into the video games andcompliment Nightwing’s gameplay. His boss fights could be intense, and show the player that not everyone is an unnamed goon.
7The G.C.P.D, Gotham’s Former Finest
It was made public knowledge that GCPDcommissioner Jim Gordon is dead in theGotham Knightsuniverse. With both Batman and Gordon dead, it would be no surprise to see the GCPD return to its old and corrupted ways. It would also be interesting to see how the Batfamily handles a crime-riddled city, with corrupt cops.
Having the police be enemies and not friends would be a great way to make the Batfamily feel even more alone with the loss of their mentor, Batman. It would show the player the ripple effect that Batman’s death has had on Gotham City, as the Gotham Knights attempt to re-establish order and themselves.
6Poison Ivy, Nature’s War
Poison Ivy is a character who has controversial and morally subject views on the world. She is for nature, and everything she does is for nature. No matter who has to die, or what has to be destroyed. Poison Ivy is no stranger to corrupting people’s minds with her powers or causing mayhem in the city.

Seeing a Gotham City plunged into a jungle because of Poison Ivy’s powers would be a great sight for gamers. The invasion of flora and mutated plants surrounding the streets and buildings would feel extra rewarding once Poison Ivy is defeated, and the streets return to normalcy. She could also turn the heroes against each other by corrupting them and making for unique boss fights against allies. The game still has a lot to show, so maybe this isone of many villains awaiting official confirmation.
5Two-Face, The Divider
Although The Penguin has already been confirmed and shown to be in the game, it would be great forGotham Knightsto bring in another crime boss. The two-obsessed former district attorney would be a great villain to want to divide Gotham in two. There are four Bat members left in Gotham. Why not bring in the man that would want to reduce that by half?
Harvey Dent would be able to add tothe existing enemy factions, by providing even more enemies in the game. It would show the player how important every member of the Batfamily is, to stop Gotham from divulging into chaos.
4David Cain, The Ultimate Assassin
The argument for David Cain to be in the game stems from the desire to one day see Cassandra Cain in a Batman game. Cassandra Cain is Batgirl, and is extremely underrated, and despite being regarded as stronger and better than Batman in the comics, she still has yet to make her debut in video games.

David Cain is Cassandra Cain’s father and is also one of the world’s greatest assassins. He also helped train a young Bruce Wayne, so he isn’t a guy that the Gotham Knights would want to mess with. A perfect opportunity for Cassandra Cain to join the team.
3Clayface, The Redeemed
Clayface has been a complicated character inDC Comicsfor many years. There has been a great deal of Clayfaces inDC, but the most prominent one is Basil Karlo. At one point, Clayface became an ally of Batman and a good friend to the Batfamily.
Redemption is a theme that belongs in the Batman mythos. To have Clayface start as a villain, with a great deal of action and different ways to tackle his fights due to his changing appearance, and then have him redeem himself into a hero, would be a great story forGotham Knightsto include.
2Bane, Breaker Of Bats
Since the events of Batman: Knightfall, Bane breaking Batman’s back has been regarded as a canon event for many years. By having a Batman dead, and bringing Bane back into the ring of Gotham City, players could experience a brutal boss fight that needs toutilize all four members of the Gotham Knights.
Bane is no fool and has plunged Gotham into chaos multiple times. With the help of a venom supply running rampant in Gotham, we could see the Gotham Knights battling stronger foes than usual, and then an engaging boss fight with Bane himself.
1The Joker, Total Anarchy
Some fans are tired of seeing The Joker everywhere. From comics to games, to animated shows, to recently deleted scenes in The Batman. Joker is pivotal to Batman and really can’t exist without him. The philosophy surrounding their history and duality is brilliant, and it’s one of the reasons why Joker is regarded so highly as a villain.
WithinGotham Knights, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Joker shut down into a vegetative state upon seeing that Batman is dead. That is if Batman is really dead. But why not give him one final hoorah? Joker could easily be the greatest threat to the Gotham Knights. Giving him and Batman’s story an epilogue, as he would see it, as he seeks to plunge Gotham into chaos with no more masked vigilantes to help.
Gotham Knightsis currently scheduled to release on October 25 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
