A Reddit user named pluralpluralpluralp has shared a video that begins with them getting summoned to fight Maliketh inElden Ring. The host is already fighting the boss as they enter the arena, and the three players start working on depleting Maliketh’s health bar. As it turns out, the Draconic Tree Sentinel can use the lightning strike attack from outside the arena, allowing the enemy to hit players fighting Maliketh. This happens multiple times throughout the video, as the player dies to three lighting strikes without ever getting a chance to attack the boss.
It looks like other users have experienced similar events while playingElden Ringin co-op, with one fan stating that they leave the game if the host runs past the Draconic Tree Sentinel. Another gamer mentions that they have never seen the Draconic Tree Sentinel persistently attacking in such a manner, while some others previously thought the enemy couldn’t land attacks inside the arena.
