15Luke Harris

Fulham’s Luke Harris has one of the best growth stats, starting at 61, and is capable of growing to 84, but with, of course, the dynamic potential, he can reach further than that. Harris is naturally a CAM in the game, but his stats also favor him playing on the wing and with his impressive 65 finishing he could do a job upfront.

His key stats, however, are his 75 balance and 74 agility, and is available for just $1 million this investment will return tenfold and will more than double his value in the first season.

14Serge Ngoma

Starting at 58 rated with a potential of 82, Ngoma is rapid with 90 pace and 90 acceleration, combined with 87 agility. The American will be the perfect winger for a low-rated side, available for just $650k and on $500 a week.

Playing for New York Red Bulls in the MLS with a High/Medium work rate he is simply a must-pick-up for any side, and he could easily become one of thebest wingers in the game. His end product will need some work but training him as an inverted winger will surely see his finishing improve in no time.

A central midfielder (who can also play CAM) with great passing, dribbling, and pace stats he is available for $600k, and with that dynamic potential, he will no doubt be worth ten times that after the first season. Can he match his brother’s reputation?

12Laurin Ulrich

Germany’s LaurIn Ulrich looks like a great pickup for any career mode side. The VFB Stuttgart man starts at 61 rated and has the potential to grow up to a very impressive 84. His best stat is 79 sprint speed, but he has great dribbling and surprisingly good defensive stats also.

Available for $1 million, he is a CM, but what is interesting is he will grow three ratings just from converting him to a CAM, LW or RW. Which will up his price and allow him to grow even more quickly. His potential will be reached in a couple of seasons and at just 17 he will no doubt be a big star in any career mode side.

11Guillaume Restes

This French goalkeeper is the best ‘hidden gem’ for his position. He starts at 60 overall, so is a ready start for many lower-league sides, and he can grow up to 80. With years as the 17-year-old as the number 1 goalkeeper, he will hit that potential very early and will just continue to grow.

Great goalkeeping stats for his age, 63 reflexes is his best stat, and playing Restes in every game will just see those stats improve. At just $600k, a loan to buy could easily be arranged meaning he will be available for nothing in the first year. With consistent game time, he will grow meaning in the second season he will be available, on that arranged lower fee for an absolute bargain.

10Ashley Phillips

17-year-old Ashley Phillips is a 6"2' center-back with the potential to beone of the best in his position. Playing for Blackburn Rovers in the Championship, and he is the best ‘hidden gem’ pick-up. Available for $675k, Phillips starts at 59 rated and has the potential to grow up to 82.

His best stats are his strength at 70 and his jumping at 74 meaning he will be an aerial threat and an absolute danger to opposition strikers in your career mode saves. Will Phillips be good enough to be an England international? With plenty of game time in the career mode, he will surely get that call-up.

9Yoni Gomes

Another CB, Gomes has the highest growth stat of any other player in the game currently. With an impressive 26 growth, Gomes starts at 53 and can grow up to 79. A right-footed, 16-year-old, French defender playing for Le Havre AC in Ligue 2 will be available for just $350k.

Anabsolute bargain of a ‘hidden gem’for a lower-rated team, and he will no doubt grow beyond this potential and become one of the best defenders in the game if you play him enough. He is just 5'9", however, so gamers may want to convert him into a right-back or central defensive midfielder to make up for his lack of height.
