As forthe Sora Amiibo figureitself, it will launch on Friday, February 16, at various retailers across the globe with a starting MSRP of $15.99. Like other Amiibo figures that are compatible withSuper Smash Bros. Ultimate, the Sora Amiibo can be used as an Amiibo fighter character in casual battles. The Amiibo fighter can be leveled up to 50 and can fight against other players and Amiibo fighters in a variety of free-for-all brawls. Given that Sora is a popular character, the demand from bothKingdom HeartsandSuper Smash Bros. fans will make the Sora Amiibo a hot commodity.
Following the announcement thatSuper Smash Bros.creatorMasahiro Sakurai was quitting YouTube later this year, fans took it as a sign of his return to full-time game development. Only time will tell if his next project will be a newSuper Smash Bros.entry or something else.
