While the game is noted for being developed to a high standard of quality, there are occasionalElden Ringbugsthat slip through the cracks.
Players have encountered many bugs inElden Ring, that vary from comical to almost game breaking. One example is a bug that hadElden Ringplayers falling at ridiculous speeds. For the most part the bugs within FromSoftware’s latest title are simple, and don’t have much effect after players initially encounter them. Other bugs cause frustration to players, especially those that involve the various bosses scattered aroundElden Ring’s open world. One player took to the internet to share a clip of a strangeElden Ringbug that falles into the less harmful category, as it simply turns the game into a big rave party.

Reddit user iproudlysimp shared the clip, which shows theirElden Ringturning into a rainbow-colored mess akin to a rave. The location featured within their clip is Nokron, one of the underground cities that players can encounter during the journey across the lands between. The bug doesn’t seem to have any impact on the gameplay, instead being an entirely graphical glitch that turns the various surfaces and walls around the player into an assortment of various neon colors. Luckily, iproudlysimp seems to have taken the bug lightly, asking in their post’s caption why theirElden Ringwas suddenly turning into a rave.
Commenters on iproudlysimp’s post matched the post’s humorous tone by making various jokes about the bug, and how it madeElden Ringresemble a real life rave. One commenter asks if they have “rave-tracing,” poking fun at how the bug is heavily graphic oriented. Another commenter says it’s just the “Radahn festivalafter party,” referencing the in-game party that’s held for one of the game’s main bosses, Radahn. While many of the comments are jokes, a few were actively trying to explain what might be causing the graphical bug so that iproudlysimp may fix it.
FromSoftware typically delivers games that are notably lacking in game-breaking bugs, andElden RIngis no exception. While players have encountered bugs since the game’s initial launch, most are brief and quickly fixed in future updates. Many of the glitches in the game are even comical, such as one thattrapped anElden Ringdragon in a building. While the cause of iproudlysimp’s rave party experience is unknown, it will most likely be resolved before the next content update toElden Ring.
