According to the player, they had not started their ship build with the intention of making it look like the iconic pocket monster, calling the initial similarity an “accident.” However, they decided to take the coincidence and go with it, further modifying the ship design to resemble the Water-type Pokemon.

Based on the images, the similarities between the ship and Pokemon were apparent. The Reddit user chose a collection of colors that matched those of Blastoise, including making the cockpit region blue and the rear section brown, resembling the Pokemon’s massive shell. Beyond the coloration, the ship had a bulky appearance, resembling the stocky look of Blastoise.
