Activision Blizzard is set to releaseCall of Duty: Vanguardin November and Sledgehammer Games is already hard at work on improvements for the game based on community feedback. Among the improvements to the game are removing “dognados” and nerfing the sun.
Call of Dutyfans recently participated in theCall of Duty: Vanguardopen beta and they had praise and criticisms for the multiplayer gameplay. Sledgehammer Games has taken a lot of the information into account and Charlie Intel has confirmed that the developer is working on the upcoming changes ahead of its launch.

According to Charlie Intel, Sledgehammer Games is tuning spawn points in certain maps, reducing the light produced by the sun, chnagomg the Attack Dogs, cracking down on “Red Star raves,” and adjusting open mic lobbies, audio mixing, weapon balancing, and visual improvements. Sledgehammer has also remindedCall of Dutyfans that the full release ofVanguardwill offer more maps, modes, and weapons.
During theCall of Duty: Vanguardopen beta, several players encountered bugs that will likely be ironed out by the release of the full game as well. Neither Charlie Intel nor Sledgehammer Games have confirmed how many bugs that the developers are working on based on fan feedback.Call of Duty: Vanguardbeta players who are unfamiliar with how open betas go may notice a more polished experience when the game officially releases.
Call of Duty: Vanguardhas appealed to manyCall of Dutyfans that are fed up with the plethora of hackers inCold WarandWarzone. This is mainly due to the addition of a brand new anti-cheat that Activision Blizzard is promoting as a major staple of the experience. However, fans that were able to try theVanguardopen beta were surprised to seehackers ruling multiplayer matchesand it’s currently unclear if the anti-cheat was enabled or if it too needs adjusting.
Call of Duty: Vanguardfans may be surprised by the changes being implemented based on fan feedback as some of them may have experienced issues that haven’t been acknowledged bySledgehammer Gamesyet. The developers may be working through one list of issues before moving on to another. SinceVanguardis on theModern Warfareengine, some of the issues may also be ones that the team is already familiar with.
While Sledgehammer is working on these improvements to theCall of Duty: Vanguardmultiplayer, the game will also feature a campaign and a Zombies mode developed by Treyarch. The campaign covers World War 2’s Eastern, Western, Pacific, and African fronts. Treyarch’s latest foray into Zombies will be the franchise’s first universe-expanding version of the popular game mode.
Call of Duty: Vanguardreleases on November 5 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
