A Reddit user named s4477 has shared a funny clip from their playthrough ofThe Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrimwith this incident. The video shows s4477 deciding to pickpocket an NPC named Thonnir, who lives inthe town of Morthal. The player goes through his belongings before pickpocketing a bunch of items, including a Silver Ring, a Gold Necklace, a lockpick, the key to his house, and more. The user takes everything from Thonnir, including 9 pieces of gold to add to their impressive total of 192,461, leaving the NPC with nothing but their clothes.

After s4477 is done stealing these items, Thonnir immediately turns around to share his current financial state with the player, mentioning that he is just a poor man trying to make a living. He wants to leave Morthal but appears unable to do so in his current situation. The player claims to feel bad about stealing all these items from Thonnir but states thatpickpocketing is fun inSkyrim.

Many gamers in the comments section make note of Thonnir’s financials, with one fan implying that he has gone through enough hardships. One user jokingly thanks s4477 for at least taking out the torch, while another player states that the Dragonborn should neversteal inSkyrim. Many users suggest that s4477 should put the items back in their rightful place, as it’s relatively simple to return them to their owner.
