A Reddit user named ____Artorias uploaded a disturbing image of what their little brother’s character looks like inThe Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim. The Dragonborn’s face looks completely deformed, and it’s probably easy to mistake it for a glitch or some other issue at first glance. The head doesn’t appear to be proportionate to the body and Artorias initially thought that it was a bug in his brother’sSkyrimplaythrough. However, the real story behind this terrifying monster gets revealed in the comments.
Artorias’ brother posted a comment confirming that he made this design on purpose. He goes by the username Albuzi, and Artorias confirmed his identity in one of the replies. Albuzi claims to have used theSkyrimRaceMenu mod to make the Dragonborn look like a monster, although he can’t fully confirm its name. The RaceMenu mod completely overhauls the character creator inSkyrim, allowing players to use various new paints and other features.
Skyrimfans seem horrified by the character, with many asking Artorias to dispatch it in whatever way he deems fit. Most of the users appear to be having fun with various ways of killing it, as one recommendedtrapping it inside a soul gemand locking it inside a chest. One gamer even listed out an entire 14-step process to make sure this character never resurfaces under any circumstances.
Some players think that the Dragonborn looks like an Argonian, with one relating to an Argonian dressing up as a human for Halloween. It looks like many of the comments were made before Albuzi described what happened, so those users seem to agree that this is just a part of thebuggy nature ofSkyrim. A few players also compare him to Jar Jar Binks.
