In a rather surprising move, Bethesda has just launched the Switch version ofSkyrim Anniversary Editionthrough Nintendo eShop. While the game has been available on other platforms since November 2021, Bethesda chose not to releaseSkyrim Anniversary Editionon Nintendo’s hybrid console for unknown reasons, which makes this recent development somewhat unexpected for a number of Switch owners. The rest had actually been anticipating for Bethesda to make its move, asrumors ofSkyrim Anniversary Editioncoming to the Switchhad already circulated since May. At the time, the game apparently had appeared somewhere in a database of a game rating committee in Taiwan, which prompted the idea that it would indeed come to Nintendo’s platform sometime in the future.RELATED:Bethesda Finally Fixes Major Skyrim Anniversary Edition Menu GlitchLuckily, fans no longer have to wait asSkyrim Anniversary Editionhas finally been listed officially on Nintendo eShop and is available for purchase in all supported regions.
