There are three locked safes inSignalis, and each one is opened by entering a code into its keypad. to obtain the correct codes for these safes, players must solve a series of puzzles, which take several forms. This guide contains full details on those puzzles, and it will help players determine all the safe codes inSignalis.
Signalis: Class 4B Wall Safe Code
The first wall safe that players will encounter inSignalisis in Class 4B on level B1. To get its code, fans ofsurvival horror video gamesmust collect theAperture Cardfrom thedesk drawerin theObservationroom on B1. The door to this room is located in the top-left corner of the Corridor that is to the right of Surface Access, and it is opened with theProtektor Keythat is in theAulanear Class 4B.

With the Aperture Card in hand, players should exit the Observation room, and head up until they reach theLibrary. There is aMicrofilm Viewerin this room, which can be used to view a document associated with the Aperture Card. The Class 4B Wall Safe Code can be found on the third page of this document.
Signalis: Office Wall Safe Code (Tree)
The second wall safe inSignalisis in the Office on level B2, and it has a tree inscribed upon it. To open this safe, players should work through the level until they haveunlocked the Butterfly Boxand earned the ability to tune intoradio frequencies.
Once this ability has been obtained, fans ofindie horrorshould turn their attention to theFrequencies documentthat is found in theInterrogation roomabove the Northwest Corridor on B2. Players should then use their receiver to tune into the frequency that is associated with"Tree.“This can be done in the menu that is above the Inventory menu, and the Office Wall Safe code will appear in the bottom-left corner after dialing in the correct frequency.
Signalis: Nurse Station Wall Safe Code (Sword)
The final wall safe is in the Nurse Station on level B3, and it has a sword inscribed upon it. The first step toward opening this safe is finding theSWORD documentin theWaiting Roomwith the 5-Lock door, which can be entered from the bottom-left corner of the East Corridor.
With the SWORD document in hand, players should return to the Nurse Station andexamine the Wall Safe. Fans ofpsychological horrorshould thenwrite down all the lettersthat appear on the safe’s keypad andcompare them against the lettersthat are visible on the left side of the SWORD document.
Upon completing this process,Signalisplayerswill find that there is one letter from the keypad that does not appear within the SWORD document. Fans will also find that one letter has been obfuscated in the document, and indeed that obfuscated letter is equal to the extra keypad letter.
Players should now use the SWORD document toconnect the letterson the left sideto the numberson the right side. This is done by matching up the positions of the letters and numbers. For example, the letter in the top-left corner of the letter section is equal to the number in the top-left corner of the number section. Notably, some numbers in the document will be obfuscated, and fans ofsci-fi horrorcan fill in any gaps simply by following standard counting order.
At this point, players should reference theFrequencies documentand use their radio to tune into the frequency associated with"SWORD.“This will cause a series of numbers to appear in the bottom-left corner of the screen, and players can now use the work that they did previously to translate those numbers into letters, determine the Nurse Station Wall Safe code, and complete thisSignalispuzzle.
