InScream (2022), it seems like Sidney has young children since she’s pushing a stroller, but it’s also possible she has a baby or toddler now and some older kids. However,whether a long-lost sibling of Sidney’s or her child is the Ghostface killer inScream 7,fans aren’t thrilled with this idea. The main issue? Fans want a Ghostface who seems to come out of left field and isn’t connected to Sidney. One Redditor wrote:

While they’re not related to Sidney, they are related to the two former main characters inScream (2022)andScream 6. The fan wrote, “Their motive? They hate how their family was ruined and that Sam and Tara have now formed their own family with Sidney, Gale, Kirby, Mindy and Chad.” While not everyone agrees with this idea,fans have strong ideas about theScream 7Ghostface killers. Which Ghostfaces Were Related To Sidney In The Scream Franchise?
Two of Sidney Prescott’s relatives are Ghostface killers: Roman Bridger (Scott Foley) inScream 3andJill Roberts (Emma Roberts) inScream 4.Both characters want to get revenge on Sidney because they resent her or don’t want to live in her shadow anymore. Roman is upset because he is Maureen Prescott’s son who she never acknowledged, and Sidney’s cousin Jill hates that Sidney has become a famous author thanks to her memoirOut of Darkness.
While many felt that Roman was a weak Ghostface,Jill is a powerful and effective Ghostface because she hides in plain sight. No one suspects her and she does a great job of pretending to be innocent. But while fans are still waiting to find outwho will come back toScream 7, many know they don’t want a sibling or relative of Sidney’s to be targeting everyone.
The most popularfan theories about Ghostfacesuggest there could be just one or several killers inScream 7. If there is just one, it makes sense that they could be tied to Sidney. But if there is more than one, it would be more logical if they were brand new to the franchise and had a motive other than revenge.
