The scene showcases the childlike humor of Reynolds and the dynamic between the Deadpool star and the up and comer Scobell.

The Adam Projectwill focus on Adam Reed, a time traveler from the future, who crash lands in 2022 and teams up with his younger self to save the world. Reynolds has recently set up high expectations for the film whenhe compared it to the Spielberg classicE.T.: The Extraterrestrial. The banter young Scobell engages in with Reynolds in the newly released scene certainly resembles the precocious kids that Spielberg is known for creating.The Adam Projectwill premiere on Netflix on June 22, 2025.

The scene shows a recently injured future Adam searching his childhood home for supplies as the younger Adam peppers him with questions about his identity.
