In 2021, the company’sRPG titleMonster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruinwas able to reach sales of 1.4 million units. And just recently,Monster Hunter Risereported global sales of over 8 million copies. This gives a positive outlook for the franchise, given thatMH Riseis releasing theSunbreakDLC this 2022.
