The company also emphasized the awards the game won last year, including Ultimate Game of the Year at the2021 Golden Joystick Awards. Other significant news in the report also highlighted the sales of Capcom’s other video game series, such asMonster Hunter. In 2021, the company’sRPG titleMonster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruinwas able to reach sales of 1.4 million units. And just recently,Monster Hunter Risereported global sales of over 8 million copies. This gives a positive outlook for the franchise, given thatMH Riseis releasing theSunbreakDLC this 2022.
