Because of this, gamers are continuing to discover brand-new details in the game, even almost five years after its initial release. With the vast amount of effort put into the game, it’s unknown if gamers will ever be able to fully discover every nuance that Rockstar included in its game.

This particular detail was pointed out by Redditor Felwinter_II, who discovered that the animals that are strung up at hunting camps aren’t simply props - players are able to interact with them, taking the carcasses for themselves. In so many other games, these would have been purely decorative. But Rockstar has managed to create one of thebest open worlds of all time withRed Dead Redemption 2, and it would have been uncharacteristic of the game to have not allowed players to interact with these particular animals.
