Red Dead Onlinehas been seeing consistent updates as of late, bringing new animals for players to either hunt or transform into. The latest addition is a dangerous new bear, with the golden fur sure to be a hot commodity to some of the characters inRed Dead Online.
This newestlegendary bear added toRed Dead Onlinejoins a group of similar creatures, with another spirit bear called the Ridgeback and a legendary bear called the Oziwa being added to the game last month. Based on the brief teaser trailer provided by Rockstar, the creature looks formidable and may take some effort to bring down. If players are not prepared for the fight, they may share the same fate as the poacher “mauled” by the animal in the trailer.

Though it was not shown in the official teaser, killing the bear can net players a new outfit if its skin is given to Gus. It is worth noting, though, thatGus’s animal hats have some bizarre inconsistencies. If the special golden bear does indeed get a hat of its own, it will likely end up the same as the other bear hats: Tinier than a wolf’s head. While the hats being anatomically incorrect is a minor flaw, it is hard not to notice.
Red Dead Onlineplayers looking for meatier content rather than another animal hunt may be in luck, as the online offering ofRed Dead Redemption 2will supposedly be getting major Halloween content in a few weeks. Zombies are set to come to the West, making their big return after first appearing in a single-player expansion of the firstRed Dead Redemption. Though many players may preferthe new Undead Nightmare contentto be single player, fans ofRed Dead Onlineshould be happy to see zombies enter the game’s towns.
For now, hunting down this golden spirit bear will likely be the focus of manyRed Deadplayers. One player has previously fired aridiculously strong revolver bullet inRed Dead Online, and those preparing for the fight may be interested in finding a way to mimic the glitch. However, the player who shot that clip has no idea why it worked, so others will likely have to face the golden bear with regular weapons in hand.
WhileRed Dead Onlinereceived this new animal to hunt,Rockstar seems to have forgottenGTA Online’s seventh anniversary. It’s unclear whether a bigger celebration will happen later, but for nowRed Deadplayers should have their hands full finding this new beast in the wilderness ofRed Dead Online.
