Red Dead Onlinerecently received a major expansion after months and months of new substantial updates. Needless to say, many fans rejoiced thatRed Dead Onlinewas finally getting updatedafter the content drought that players experienced.
The recent update forRed Dead Online,called the Naturalist update, featured content geared toward the game’s vast amount of wildlife. Now, new legendary animal missions surrounding alligators have been added to the game for hunters to find.

Now that the Naturalist update is available for the players to experience, many players are wondering how tobecome a Naturalist inRed Dead Online. Thankfully, it’s not very hard to do, as players simply need to go to Strawberry and pay 25 gold bars. However, the Naturalist update does add new content for players like new cosmetics and new legendary animal missions. Now, Rockstar has announced that it will be adding two more legendary animal missions to the game in the form of new alligators.
The new legendary alligators being added are called the Teca Gator and Sun Gator. The Teca Gator can be found in the Kamassa River in the dark when it’s rainy or stormy, while the Sun Gator can be found in the Lannahechee River on foggy mornings. Players will have the option tosedate the animals during theRed Dead Onlinemissionsor kill them. The NPC Gus can give Naturalists special items and cosmetics for rare animal pelts and skins.
However, it should be warned thatHarriet, the other Naturalisthelper NPC, does not like killing animals and will punish players for hunting before visiting her. It’s also noteworthy that Harriet will be the one giving Naturalists many of their legendary animal missions. Harriet will give players animal guide information and experience for sampling the gators, while Gus will give players a hat and gloves for the Teca and Sun Gator’s skins, respectively.
Naturally, players in the Naturalist roles will spend a lot of their playtimes away fromnotable towns and cities like Saint-Deniswhile out in the wild hunter and tracking wildlife. The Naturalist update, while maybe not being entirely whatRed Dead Onlinefans have been asking for, is still a very interesting update. It certainly adds a brand new way to experience the beautiful world ofRed Dead Onlinethat players haven’t been able to experience so far.
