While the Dragon Isles were locked away from the rest of Azeroth for thepast 10,000 years, other factions have made the vast terrain their hunting grounds. One such group is the Maruuk Centaur, whose relationship with the Green Dragonflight goes back several millennia, even before the War of the Ancients and the first coming of the Burning Legion.

The rewards given from a particular hunt depend on how many times a character has participated in the event that week. The first time offers up the best rewards, including 20 Centaur Hunting Trophies, which can be turned in for reputation, a Grand Hunt Spoils, which can contain a plethora of useful items, including gear, and the chance of getting the Plainswalker Bearer mount.

The Aylaag Clan camp will move every five hours, so be sure to check the new location on the map before setting out.

For every first time a player competes in the Great Hunt, they will have the chance to loot the Plainswalker Bearer mount. This mount will only drop from the epic Grand Hunt Spoils, so patience is key when trying to obtain this ridable mammoth.
