Apartments are a reality of life for so many people all over the world and represent many ways of living, and to exclude them completely in favor of city orlandlord paid content doesn’t make sense forThe Sims, which is supposed to emulate life.

Having several families and individuals live close together would also create interesting dynamics between different Sim households that don’t exist inThe Sims 4thanks to the multitude of loading screens. Keeping it behind a paywall, especially for such a long time like it was inThe Sims 4, would be a massive oversight as it bars so much content from players that really doesn’t need to have a barrier. Alongside weather, apartments are one of thefundamental features ofThe Simsthat have become a staple in the series, and to continue to paywall it isn’t justifiable anymore.
