Titan Pokemon are some of the most fearsome bosses ofPokemon Scarlet & Violet, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be caught like any other Pokemon. Each and every one of the Titan Pokemon are available for capture, in certain locations.

While the Titan Pokemon are special in their own right, they are ultimately just powered-up regular Pokemon. Unlike the Totem Pokemon found inPokemon Sun & Moon,Pokemon Scarlet & Violet’s the Titan Pokemon that serve as boss battles can be caught in addition to the other Pokemon of that species.

It’s not actually illustrated or discussed in the game, but it’s not hard to get revenge on the Titan Pokemon. In fact, going back and catching these mini-bosses can represent a power-up for many players’ teams.

Can You Catch the Titans in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet?

Players can catch the actual Titan Pokemon from thePokemon Scarlet & Violetboss battles by visiting their stomping grounds after defeating them. The Titan Pokemon can be found standing or floating in place after the battle as a static encounter but will be normally sized. The Pokemon are effectively NPCs on the map, rather than a regular wild Pokemon. The exact locations of each one can be found here:

Players are unable to run into them, and cannot start an auto-battle with them using the Let’s Go feature. The only way to battle them is by talking with them, similar to the legendary encounters in past Pokemon games. Once a battle is initiated with them, players can catch them the same way they would with any other Pokemon.

The Titan Pokemon are distinct from most Pokemon of that species due to their high IVs. Each one is guaranteed to have30 IVs in each stat, making them stronger than other Pokemon of the same species caught in the wild.

Beyond that, each of the Titan Pokemon can be caught in the wild. They appear in a variety of locations across the Paldea region.

Just stand in place, wait for it to pop back up, and throw a Pokemon at it to start battle.
