Pokemon Legends: Arceusis one of the most successfulPokemongames to ever be released, to the point that it sold over 6 million copies in the first week since its launch, considering pre-orders. There were many concerns on the community’s part when it comes to the game’s visuals, withPokemon Legends: Arceus' graphics being criticizedfor visible edges and subpar textures - a criticism that eventually became less prominent the more fans got to play the final product. In fact, while graphics are not the game’s strong suit, they are not such a big issue in the grand scheme of things.

However, there have been several reports of visual glitches inPokemon Legends: Arceus, and especially so with the interaction of some Pokemon with trees and other objects in the overworld. A great example of this is a clip that showedhow strong trees inPokemon Legends: Arceusarebecause of an Alpha Blissey managing to climb onto one through a bug. Another example is an Alpha Garchomp losing its mind chasing a berry in a never-ending loop, running around in circles.

A Reddit user by the name of MeruMSB shared another visual bug clip today, which instead involves a glitchy Gyarados who ends up obliterating the trainer with a well-placed Hydro Pump. The problem is that thePokemon Legends: Arceusplayer drew Gyarados' attention while crossing a small water patch with Basculegion in order to reach a shaking tree on the other side. The Gyarados managed to go out of bounds from the small lake and actually use Hydro Pump on them from the ground, as it wasn’t a water-bound Pokemon.

The menacing creature is not actually “water-bound” inPokemon Legends: Arceusand players can find aflying Gyarados in the Obsidian Fieldlands, but some specimens are only found in the water and cannot fly around. Still, the clip shared by MeruMSB clearly shows the Gyarados swimming in terrain textures, glitching all the way near the shaking tree in order to keep targeting the player. It’s possible that swiftly switching between Basculegion and Wyrdeer to cross both water and land caused the issue, but it remains a scary occurrence for the player.

Another ridiculous visual issue reported by a fellow player is that aPokemon Legends: Arceusglitch can make objects biggerin the overworld - particularly, this works when running in circles around Irida in the Alabaster Icelands. The result is that the Pearl Clan’s settlement in the background begins enlarging, eventually taking over everything on the screen. Similar issues are bound to happen from time to time, but there is a chance they will be patched quickly.

Pokemon Legends: Arceusis now available for Nintendo Switch.
