Reddit user bigfesh managed to catch an Eeveewith a 0 for every stat or IV. Sometimes referred to as a “nundo” by the community, this is arare occurrenceinPokemon GO.The Pokemon itself was caught in Canton, Michigan earlier this week. While it is rare to find a Pokemon this weak, several other Redditors shared their nundo catches in response to the post. One user in particular, Any-Ability233, stated that they also caught their first nundo in Canton, Michigan as well, making this catch for Reddit user bigfesh even more rare.

While a Pokemon as weak as the one that bigfesh caught is a rare occurrence inPokemon GO, it is relatively useless in the game itself. Pokemon inPokemon GOare given a different score for each of their three stats: attack, defense, and HP. These determine howstrong a Pokemon is when battlinganother player in the game, with higher numbers in each stat resulting in stronger Pokemon. The Eevee that bigfesh caught has a 0 for every stat, resulting in the weakest a Pokemon could possibly be inPokemon GO. This would be ultimately useless in terms of battling another player.
Catching rare Pokemon is always an exciting experience for players inPokemon GO,regardless of what makes the Pokemon rare. Even though bigfesh’s Eevee will provide little value to a team of battling Pokemon, it is still a great catch to add to anyone’s roster.
