Can Cranidos be Shiny in Pokemon GO?
As of July 2021, Cranidos can spawn a shiny variant form inPokemon GOif players are lucky. While the default form of Cranidos features a gray body with blue features on the head, back, and tail, its shiny form completely changes its visual scheme by giving its body a lighter tan color and replacing the blue highlights with red.
During Adventure Week 2023 from July 27 to August 2, players will have a much better chance at finding Cranidos in the wild, which can also increase the odds of finding a shiny. To generate more opportunities to catch this hard-headed Pokemon, players should utilize an incense while walking around and exploring to continue spawning creatures. When near a PokeStop, players will want to use either anormal or Magnetic Lureto cause an increase the number of spawns around it with the later option focusing solely on Electric, Steel, and Rock types only.
How to Evolve Cranidos into Rampardos in Pokemon GO
Whether shiny or not,Pokemon GOplayers do have the option to evolve their Cranidos into the Head Butt Pokemon known as Rampardos. Thankfully, the evolution process is much more straightforward than some other pocket monsters in the game, which may require a condition or two to be met before the option appears. Players may first need to evolve Pokemon during specific times of the day,walk a certain distance with them set as their buddy Pokemon like Hisuian Sneasel, or even trade it with someone else as is the case with Gengar or Alakazam.
In the case of Cranidos, players simply need to collect 50 candy to have the option of evolving it into Rampardos. Adventure Week 2023 is likely the best time to farm Cranidos candy through catching multiple versions it in the wild, though another method would be to set it as their buddy and collect 1 piece of candy for every 5km walked.
