Weezing is a Poison-type Pokemon that evolved from Koffing at level 35 or higher.Pokemon GOplayers may evolve Koffing into Weezing by feeding it 50 Candies. Weezing received a special Galar regional form inPokemon SwordandShield, allowing it to become a Poison and Fairy dual-type Pokemon after its evolution from Koffing.Pokemon GOfeatured Galarian Weezingduring a limited-time event in November 2019 as well. Official lore by The Pokemon Company states that the Galar form is a result of pollution caused by the region’s great factories.

Pokemonfan VideTextilStudio recently manufactured a stunning Weezing rug for a commission and promoted the finished product to fans in the active online community. The user created original concept art for Weezing before preparing and processing textile materials for the commissioned rug. The concept art is slightly different compared to Weezing’s official artwork since the coloring of the Pokemon’s gas is brown instead of a greener mustard color. Additionally,Weezing’s skull and crossbones symboluses a darker cream color instead of white. Weezing’s body maintains its recognizable purple color in the rug, however.
VideTextilStudio had doubts about the background color due to subtle coloring changes between the concept art and the rug’s actual fabric. The user is still pleased with the final product, and severalPokemonfans are already interested in buying the Weezing rug from VideTextilStudio’s online shop. Each rug is fully handcrafted by VideTextilStudio in Spain, so the user is open to making rugs in different sizes for commissions and requests. Further, VideTextilStudio’s shop lists rugs for otherpopular Generation 1 Pokemonsuch as Pikachu and Charmander.
The new rug is an incredible showcase of VideTextilStudio’s textile skills and a worthy tribute to Weezing. Although the rug is not entirely faithful to The Pokemon Company’s original Weezing design, the colors and fabrics blend well to create a unique rendition of Weezing.
Weezing may not be available inPokemon ScarletandVioletright now, but the Pokemon could potentially make its return in the upcoming Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC. Thenew Pokemon Presents presentationwill likely reveal more details about the upcomingPokemon ScarletandVioletDLC alongside updates for otherPokemontitles on August 8.
