APokemonfan has imagined what it would look like if a Rotom possessed a cat feeder. A number of pocket monsters have different forms that they can take under certain circumstances. This ability to change makes a number ofPokemon unique, as they alter their appearance and Type.
One of thesePokemon is Rotom. The Electric/Ghost-Type is able to possess certain appliances found in the games, which changes both its look and its Typing. The pocket monster has five forms that it can take into battle, and has also been used to power the player’s phone and Pokedex in recent Generations. One gamer came with a design for a Rotom that has taken over a cat feeder.

A Redditor known as bugcatcherinvf posted an image of a cat feeder that has been taken over by a Rotom. The artwork shows that the appliance now has the ghostly aura and eyes seen on all the different forms that thePokemonhas. According to bugcatcherinvf, the cat feeder Rotom would be an Electric/Normal-Type, a combination that only one other evolutionary line has. The concept that bugcatcherinvf came up with is interesting, and is an idea that is unique and fun.
The cat feeder Rotom has gained a few fans, including one who stated that they found the Pokemon to be awesome and cute. Bugcatcherinvf did mention in the description for their artwork that the pocket monster’s form was inspired by their cat feeder becoming haunted, which left a few Redditors with questions. This includes one commenter who said that someone cannot say that such an appliance is haunted and not elaborate any further. A cat feeder is not something that one would immediately think of when coming up withRotom forms, but is entertaining nonetheless.
The concept that bugcatcherinvf came up with be a great addition to thePokemonseries, as Rotom has not received a playable form for some time now. While Rotom is now seen in the player’s phone andPokedex, the pocket monster should receive new appliances to take over that can be used in battle. There are still a good number of Types that have not been used by the creature, as well as many household items that it can possess. Rotom is a very interesting idea that still has a lot of potential for Game Freak to take advantage of. Hopefully players will see more forms for the Electric/Ghost-Type in future games and DLC that release for the legendary series.
