Riding bikes with teammates inPersona 4 Goldenunlocks new skills for their Personas that they don’t otherwise have access to. This can allow certain characters to function in new ways, opening up the potential for new strategies and team compositions.
Players can get new abilities for a party member up to five times, with each outing offering up a new skill. Each character has a different set of skills, but not all these abilities are unique to the character.
For example, Naoto can learn abilities like Bufudyne and Ziodyne that allow her to cover all four basic elements. This makes Naoto particularly fearsome while progressing through dungeons.

Each character in Persona 4 Golden learns up to five skills by biking, with a new skill coming after each trip. These skills are learned in order, with the skills generally improving over time. Here are the bike skills learned by each character:

What Does Biking with Rise Do?
Biking with Rise does not offer any new skills. Instead, it increases the amount of damage the team deals during an all-out attack. Each party member is strong in their own right, but Rise gets the biggest improvement by biking, making the reward for biking with her greater than the party members that actually fight.
