OneOverwatch 2fan recently showed off their artistic skills and love for Echo by making a detailed crochet doll of the hero. While the character’s futuristic design stands out inOverwatch 2, her design converted surprisingly well to crochet art as well.
Even though the originalOverwatchfeatured a number of notable additions to its roster after launch, Echo has the distinction of being the last one added to the original game. Whilethree new heroes have been added toOverwatch 2since then, Echo still is a character that can be dominant on the battlefield if used correctly. As part of the damage role, she comes with several abilities that allow her to impact the game significantly, most notably her Duplicate ability that lets her take the form of other heroes and copy their abilities.

However, despite the ability to change her appearance to copy that of other heroes, her standard white and blue design is equally striking. Over on Reddit, an artist called MikaD0000 decided to copy Echo’s design in a crochet doll and shared it for the rest of theOverwatch 2communityto see. While the doll was tiny, it had a massive cuteness factor. The Reddit user impressively included all the major aspects of the hero’s design, including her pair of white wings. One thing that made the doll look even more adorable was the blue eyes the artist chose, along with the overly large head they used compared to the rest of her body.
Many gamers on theOverwatch 2subreddit could not help but notice the cuteness of this Echo crochet doll. In fact, the post already has more than 1.7K upvotes, with many fans commenting on how adorable the design of the damage character is. “That is the cutest little thing!…until she beams you down at 50 HP,” one user joked, referencingEcho’s Focusing Beam inOverwatch 2, which does high damage to weak targets. In addition, some fans loved the design so much that they wanted one of their own. Fortunately, MikaD0000 revealed in the Reddit comments that they sell the pattern for the crochet doll on their Etsy for those interested in making one for themselves.
While this crochet Echo doll is doubtlessly adorable, it is not the only fan art MikaD0000 has shared on the internet. In addition to this design, they previously made a crochet Widowmaker. Furthermore, they have made crochet dolls from popular gaming franchises such asPokemonandGenshin Impact. It will be interesting to see what the artist crotchets next. With35 characters on theOverwatch 2roster, perhaps they will make even more heroes from the popular team-based hero shooter.
