Overwatch 2just revealed a new Sojourn Legendary skin that transforms her into an ocean goddess. This new cosmetic will be sold as a part of the crowdfunding initiative for the 2023Overwatch 2World Cup.
Blizzard recently revealed the online qualifiers for theOverwatch 2World Cupare about to begin. Starting June 22 through July 2, fans can watch teams from Denmark, Portugal, Iceland, and Finland compete for their spots in the upcoming tournament. The winners of the final contest will win a prize pool derived from 25% of the proceeds fromOverwatchWorld Cup cosmetics and bundles purchased by the community.

The Legendary and Supporter bundles will make up a large portion of these contributions, and the star of these cosmetics is a signature Legendary skin for Sojourn, the newestDPS hero inOverwatch 2. Ocean Goddess Sojourn will be available through this LegendaryOverwatchCup bundle for a limited time. The in-game skin is not finished yet, butOverwatch 2showed off the stunning concept art being used to design it.
The concept for this skin was designed by Armando Gonzalez-Dorta–the artist responsible for popularOverwatch 2skins like Pachimari Roadhog, Vampire Hunter Brigitte, and Infinite Seer Mercy. The skin itself was inspired by Sedna, the Inuit goddess known as the Mistress of the Sea and Mother of Marine Life. It reimagines Sojourn as a blue fish-like humanoid, and even replaces her cybernetic thrusters with water jets. This skin is a must-have for fans of the DPS hero.
Several other skins are making their debut via theOverwatch 2World Cup as well. The Conference Bundles, coming to the store on June 20, feature home and away skins forOverwatch 2heroes including Reinhardt, Reaper, Ashe, Widowmaker, D.Va, and Kiriko–heroes who hail from each of the three regional conferences. Additionally, players can earn home and away skins for Winston, Wrecking Ball, Zenyatta, and Ramattra, plus a World Cup 2023 spray and player icon, as Twitch drops during the World Cup Qualifiers.
Overwatch 2is giving a lot of love to Sojourn right now. A new cinematic trailer featuring the Canadian captain is coming as a part of Season 5, and another Sojourn Legendary skin will be included as a part oftheOverwatch 2: Invasion bundle in Season 6, which gives players access to the highly-anticipated Story missions Sojourn will play a large role in. Purchasing this bundle also gives players permanent access to Sojourn, allowing them to play the newer hero immediately after completing Story Mission challenges.
