Summary
The leader of the Blizzard group and self-proclaimed member of the Saitama group, Fubuki is a B-class Rank 1 hero and is the younger sister of the S-Class Rank 2 hero -Tatsumaki in theOne Puch Manseries. An elegantly dressed and confident woman with green hair, Fubuki believes in dressing well and is willing to do anything to reach the next hero rank.
Although she is known to be extremely powerful, she suffers from an inferiority complex making her insecure about herself, and feels she is overshadowed by her sister’s powers. Regardless of this, she carries herself as a true hero who will help a hero in need when the opportunity arises and aspires to one day exceed her sister in rank and power.
The Esper
Throughout the series, Fubuki is seen to be strong-willed anddetermined to get whatshe wants, she takes her job as a hero seriously and has an undying commitment towards protecting citizens from monsters. Her sense of duty is as strong as her will to not back down from a fight, her determination to excel and rise through the ranks of the Hero Association is the driving force in her life. Fubuki also has a competitive and ambitious side to her as being a hero is not enough for her, but she wants to be at the top of the hero rankings, this pushes her to fight stronger monsters and villains. Although she possesses powerful abilities, she can also come off as proud and arrogant if she does not get what she wants, which can lead to chaos if someone were to challenge her authority. Even though she comes off as arrogant, Fubuki also has a compassionate side towards her, she genuinely cares about her fellow heroes and is also caring towards herBlizzard group team members, convincing them to also move up the hero ladder and to work hard towards it.
Underneath her tough shell she constantly worries about how hersister Tatsumaki overpowers herand this makes her feel insecure. This insecurity makes her doubt herself sometimes as she tries her hardest to overcome it. She also struggles with relationships with some of her peers, mainly the relationship with Saitama. She initially dismisses him as a weak hero but later sees the kind of power Saitama is capable of and this is when her attitude towards him changes to the point she forces him to join her group. As the leader of the Blizzard group, Fubuki shows great leader energy and takes it uponherself to recruit potential heroesfor her group, she also inspires her members and in return, they are loyal to her.
Abilities and Fighting Style
Fubuki is a powerful hero with exceptional psychic powers that give her the ability to use psychokinesis, the ability to manipulate, throw heavy objects or restrain movements of a person with just her mind. As a B-class Rank 1 hero, she possesses immense endurance ability and also uses her psychokinesis to land powerful attacks from stronger opponents, she is also able to create a barrier that protects herself andwhoever she wants to within it. With psychokinesis, she is also able to levitate in the air or fly. Telepathy is also another ability which she can use, and she uses this mostly to contact her sister. During the heat of a battle, she is also able to use organic-body enhancement, which can temporarily strengthen organic parts of a human, this is seen when she heals Bang’s and Bomb’s weakness in their joints so that they can continue fighting.
A few of Fubuki’s special moves involves - Hell storm, which surrounds her opponent with a powerful tornado, inflicting damage. Her restriction capabilities are also very powerful as she was able to freeze the movement of her entire Blizzard group when they were hypnotized. Fubuki has an even more powerful tornado-like ability known as Psychic Whirlwind -this ability allows her to create a whirlwindthat can redirect psychic attacks, if a psychic were to accidentally step into the whirlwind, they would be unable to use their abilities. Another powerful move that Fubuki can deliver is known as Pyschic strike - This underrated yet powerful move allows her to knock a target out by using a chopping-like motion with her hand on her opponent’s neck.
A fun fact about Fubuki, is that her hero name Blizzard of Hell was given to her because of her ability to create powerful winds. Despite looking older than her sister, she is actually 5 years younger than her. Overall Fubuki, is one of the stronger heroes in theOne Punch Man series, andis later seen that she continues to become even stronger. Her aspirations and abilities make her a compelling addition to the series and give the entire story an engaging perspective.
