One Piece’s Long Hiatus
Oda Took A Long Break To Rest Properly
Oda usually doesn’t go on long hiatuses. Fans are fully aware that after every 3 weeks or so, Oda takes a week off and this helps him greatly in terms of planning out his story, and at the same time, resting himself properly. Of course, that rest is hardly enough. Given how difficult the schedule of mangaka is, Oda certainly deserves more rest, and the news that came out on the back of Toriyama’s passing likely had an impact on him as well. Oda mentioned it in his message that was released prior to him taking a break. Still, Oda’s health is fine, as he confirmed to the fans himself. However, that certainly does not mean that he can’t be careful.
And I want to give proper thought about what One Piece will be all about!
For the past 2 years, Oda has been taking a 3-week break around summer, and this year, he decided to take the break a bit earlier to properly rest his body and ensure that his story is going in the right direction. Oda announced this break towards the end of March, and now, the wait is almost done as One Piece will be looking to return later next week.

This is quite a precarious situation on Egghead at the moment, and fans are certain of the fact that things are only going to get more exciting from here onwards.One Piecewill mark its return with chapter 1112, which is all set to release officially on 21 April, 2024. This chapter is going to be absolutely sensational, and fans will most likely get to see the escape Plan of the Straw Hat Pirates proceed.
Of course, this Escape is going to be very difficult to pull off, given that all Five Elders are on the island, and of course, at the same time, Vegapunk’s message is yet to be released. One Piece chapter 1113 will most certainly be exciting for the fans in many ways, and it is going to be incredibly interesting to see how the Egghead Island arc shapes from here onwards.

Sadly, with the release ofOne Piecechapter 1113, the series is expected to go on another 1-week break. This isn’t specific toOne Piece.In fact, this break is going to be one for the entire Weekly Shonen Jump magazine.
This is because Golden Week is coming in Japan, and during this time, every year, the series goes on a break. It is unfortunate that fans will not get to witness a run of chapters before the series goes on break again, however, at the very least, fans can rest assured that they will get to read two chapters before witnessing another long break.
