When he is not fighting villains or saving his friends, Luffy is usually indulging in a fun activity. As a laid-back individual, Luffy always tries to have fun. He has never changed, and the fans will be hoping that Luffy continues to be funny. Even in the current arc, Luffy has had many laughable moments. With that in mind, we have added more ofLuffy’s funniest moments.
14Insulting Zoro
Once the Straw Hats escaped from the Navy in Alabasta, they felt bad about leaving Vivi behind. Everyone was unhappy except Zoro, who suggested that if the crew missed Vivi so much, they should have taken her by force. The crew was surprised by Zoro’s behavior, and they began to call him names.
While, Chopper, Nami, and Sanji hurled harmless insults at Zoro, Luffy also decided to make an attempt. He ended up calling Zoro “Santoryu,” but he was corrected by Usopp, who said it wasn’t an insult. Luffy made another attempt and this time he called Zoro “Yontoryu.”
13Impersonating Chopper
After Nico Robin joined the crew, many members were against her as they still did not trust her. Luffy, Chopper, and Sanji were already on board. Nami, Usopp, and Zoro decided not to be fooled by Robin, but the former Baroque Works member managed to get Nami onboard by giving her jewels that she had stolen from Crocodile.

This left Usopp and Zoro. Robin used her devil fruit powers on Luffy and sprouted two arms on Luffy’s head. Luffy called out to Usopp and when the latter saw that Luffy was impersonating Chopper, it left the sniper in stitches.
12Knocking Zoro Off The Ship
Due to his super-stretchy limbs, Luffy can cover long distances by launching himself like a rocket. He can also stretch his limbs to catch an object or a person. As a flock of birds was passing by the ship, Sanji asked Luffy to grab a few of them. Luffy used his devil fruit body to grab the birds and as his arm was returning to its original shape, he ended up knocking Zoro off the ship and into the ocean.
11Couldn’t Recognize Foxy
Luffy is known for being clueless. On numerous occasions, Luffy has shown that he is unable to recognize faces. When the crew was trying to locate Foxy, the latter appeared in front of them disguised and everyone except Luffy knows that it is Foxy.
Just as Sanji gets ready to attack Foxy, he is stopped by Luffy, who tries to talk to Foxy believing him to be Foxy’s sister. Foxy decides to advantage of the situation and tries to attack Luffy, but he is stopped by Zoro. After his attack is blocked, Foxy discards the outfit and reveals his identity to Luffy, who gets angry that he is tricked again.
10Imitating Sanji
Luffy is an excellent impressionist. Over the course of the series, he has done impressions of his crew members many times. The first time, he did an impression of Sanji was way back in the Alabasta arc when the crew was imprisoned by Crocodile.
Luffy did a spot-on impression of Sanji which left Usopp in stitches. Luffy imitated Sanji once againduring the Skypiea arc.
9Drinking A Glass Of Water With His Booger
As the Straw Hats continued to navigate through the East Blue, they came across the floating restaurant known as Baratie. Shortly after their arrival, Luffy had a brief tussle with Fullbody and the former ended up redirecting a cannonball to the roof of the restaurant. This resulted in Luffy having to work as a waiter in the restaurant while the rest of the crew was enjoying the food.
Being unable to eat the food infuriated Luffy, who threw a booger into Zoro’s glass of water. As Zoro picked up the glass, Luffy was smiling in triumph, but his happiness was cut short as Zoro forcefully fed him the glass of water.
8Imitating Zoro
Roronoa Zoro and Luffy are very close friends. The two have been traveling together for a long time, however, that didn’t stop Luffy from mimicking Zoro.

When Luffy, Sanji, and Usopp were looking for the rest of the crew, Luffy decided that they could do with some humor. So, he decided to imitate Zoro. He did a perfect impression of Zoro mocking his ability to sleep at any given time.
7Do Skeletons Poop?
Luffy is not a genius and it has been proven over and over in the series. In this particular scene, Luffy decided to use his ability to ask questions. When Luffy met Brook on the Ghost ship, he asked the skeleton if he had the ability to poop.
Luffy’s question annoyed Sanji, who stated that there are more important questions to ask before enquiring about the skeleton’s ability to use his excretory system.
6Pushing The Zombie Back In
Thriller Bark is among the funniest arcs inOnePiece. There are many hilarious moments in the arc, but arguably the funniest one is where Luffy and co. look at a zombie, who was trying to get out of his grave.
While the other Straw Hats were looking at the zombie, Luffy decided to push the zombie back into his grave, but the zombie simply got back up. Luffy being the dense person that he is thought the zombie was an old man with a wound.
5Are You Bege?
Despite being a very smart fighter, Luffy is usually very slow at understanding things. Luffy’s meeting with Capone Bege was supposed to go normally without any problems. When Luffy and co. arrived at the hideout ofthe Fire Tank Pirates, they had to wait for Bege to appear.

In the meantime, Luffy tried to put on a serious face and began to ask others around him if they were Bege. Firstly, he asked Chiffon if she was Bege and then he asked Pez if he is Bege. Then finally, he asked everyone else if they were Bege. This enraged both Nami and Chopper, who were annoyed by their captain’s stupidity.
