Hogwarts Legacyplayers willing to watch Twitch streams of the game can get their hands on an entire new set of cosmetic items inspired by Charms Professor Ronen.Hogwarts Legacyplayers can kill two birds with one stone by tuning in to the same Legacy Live stream at 9am PT that they have to watch to get Merlin’s Cloak, but the Charms Professor items can also be earned by watching specific Twitch streamers with Twitch Drops enabled. TheseHogwarts LegacyTwitch dropswill be available from May 5 to June 1. Each reward is earned for 30 minutes of watch-time. Since there are six pieces to the set, fans will have to watch three hours worth of eligible Twitch streams to claim their prizes. It’s worth pointing out that the Twitch Drops can be claimed even if one doesn’t actually own the game yet, so those planning on playing it on Nintendo Switch this summer may still want to tune in.
Players have multiple interactions withProfessor Ronenover the course of theHogwarts Legacystory. Professor Ronen is responsible for teaching players some of the more basic spells inHogwarts Legacy, with those spells then put to good use in combat and puzzle-solving. Professor Ronen is also the one who teaches players how to play the Summoner’s Court mini-game.
Summoner’s Court is a mini-game inHogwarts Legacythat asks players to utilize the Accio spell. Using Accio, players pull balls across a large board, with the goal of getting the ball as far as possible without it falling off. There are a series of different opponents that players can square off against in Summoner’s Court, and defeating all of them is necessary for those going for 100% completion inHogwarts Legacy. Those that manage to get the Charms Professor DLC items will be able to compete in Summoner’s Court dressed as the professor that taught them how to play it in the first place, which could be an amusing diversion.
Hogwarts Legacyis out now for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X with PS4 and Xbox One versions coming May 5 and a Nintendo Switch port dropping July 25.
