Voltron: Legendary Defenderis a Netflix Original produced by Dreamworks based on the 1984 seriesVoltron: Defender Of The Universe. It was a hugely successfulmecha animated series. Spanning eight seasons and seventy-eight episodes, the series combined anime-inspired animation and CGI to inject originality into a classic Sci-Fi premise.

Netflix users without ads will no longer be able to follow the Voltron Force’s defense of the universe against the Galra Empire. The reason for its exclusion is likely the lack of a deal with Dreamworks, so there is some hope that the series will be available with ads at some point.
