Support characters inMy Hero Ultra Rumbleare some ofthe best fightersthat players can choose when diving into the anime battle royale.Unlike other archetypeslike the Assault and Strike classes, the Support archetype caters to fans who like to support the team with health and various features that help to give the team advantages that opposing fighters don’t have.
While many gamers may suspect that Support characters deal less damage overall and can’t contribute to a team in other ways than to revive or heal them, Support heroes and villains actually have a lot more assets within their skills that give them an edge over many other fighters in terms of damage. In fact, some of these Support characters deal more damage than other archetypes.
4Momo Yaoyorozu
Momo Yaoyorozu, a solid member of Class 1-A, uses her unique Quirk to create various items and tools when fending off her foes and supporting her allies. InMy Hero Ultra Rumble, all of Yaoyorozu’s Quirk Skills are based on her ability to create just about anything. Yaoyorozu can create random melee weapons to strike her opponents at close range, a shield to either bash enemies or defend herself, and even a cannon to shoot at enemy teams at long distances.
Not only does she use all of these Quirk Skills to devastate enemy teams, but her Special Action allows Yaoyorozu to essentiallydrop random itemson the ground for her and her teammates to use. This Special Action can come in handy when a team is on the run and out of items, giving them extra GP and HP when needed. Though Yaoyorozu has her flaws, her strengths are so powerful they outshine the former.
3Mr. Compress
The righteous villain Mr. Compressis one of the most magnificent characters on the League of Villains team. InMy Hero Ultra Rumble, Mr. Compress uses his ability to shrink down items and people to not only launch cars and objects at his enemies but also to get his allies out of any conflict that proves to be too overbearing. Mr. Compress only has one true Quirk Skill that allows him to combat his foes, which lets Mr. Compress throw small, compressed orbs at opponents which then decompress into large objects, like cars.
His other two Quirk Skills are support-esque; his second Quirk Skill lets him hold out a shield that sends projectiles hurling back toward enemies, and his third Quirk Skill lets him compress himself and shoot away from opponents while leaving an AoE of smoke behind. Not only can Mr. Compress perform these magnificent feats, but he can also shrink down an ally and carry them around in his pocket, which heals them slowly. Using all of Mr. Compress' abilities makes him feasible in the late game, as he can assist his teammates with corresponding attacks and defend them when needed.
2Cementoss
Cementoss has become a fan-favoriteMy Hero Ultra Rumblecharacter over time due to his unique abilities that allow him to place structures around the map and because he’s available to all players, even beginners from the start.Using his Quirk, which lets Cementoss manipulate cement, Cementoss controls his three Quirk Skills to place various cement structures that can givehim and his teammatesan edge in battle. Cementoss can build a tower very quickly, and even trap enemies within cement walls if a player is skilled enough.
While Cementoss can perform all of these potent strategies in a match, fans wouldn’t want to forget one of his best assets: Cementoss' Special Action. Cementoss' Special Action allows him to rapidly construct a small concrete structure to defend a downed ally, while also instantly reviving them. With this grand Special Action, Cementoss can easily ensure a team’s victory by keeping importantcharacters like Katsuki Bakugoalive and adding to a team’s overall DPS. With all of these abilities and skills combined, Cementoss has one of the highest skill ceilings in the entire game, which makes him a very enthralling face onMy Hero Ultra Rumble’swide roster.
1Ibara Shiozaki
As one of the several fighters to be released alongsideMy Hero Ultra Rumble’sofficial debut, many fans were excited to see how Ibara Shiozaki would play out using her iconic Quirk. Since then, the community has dubbed Ibara Shiozaki as one of the best Supportheroes that players can learn, as she delves deep into the meta feature of dishing out damage while also ensuring her teammates are alive and well. Shiozaki’s three Quirk Skills all focus on dealing damage at a mid-range level and dealing a lot of damage at that.
With her third Quirk Skill, Shiozaki can imprison an enemy within the vines of her thorned hair, leaving them vulnerable to any other attacks that Shiozaki or her teammates would like to lay out. Like Cementoss, Shiozaki’s Special Action places a border around a downed ally andinstantly revives them, which is a wonderful aid to have when fighting throughMy Hero Ultra Rumble’slate game. Shiozaki specializes in shying away from a direct battle while her allies confront the enemy head-on. During this, Shiozaki can provide cover fire with her hair-related Quirk, and revive any allies that become overwhelmed by the opponent’s power.
