10One For All / Yoichi Shigaraki
The brother of the infamous supervillain All For One, Yoichi Shigaraki is the original wielder of One For All, a quirk placed on him by his brother. Instead of falling in line and aiding his brother’s evil deeds, Yoichi fought back and used the quirk his brother cursed him with to do it.
But even before he received his quirk, Yoichi refused to follow in his brother’s footsteps and constantly resisted All For One’s demands. To stare the world’s most powerful quirk user in the face and defy him takes a lion’s bravery.
9Red Riot / Eijiro Kirishima
A prominent classmate of Class 1-A, Eijiro (or Red Riot)wields a defensive hardening quirk that makes him incredibly durable, and is one of the few friends of Katsuki Bakugo. Red Riot stepped up his game exponentially by pushing his quirk further to become even harder.
However, Red Riot’s greatest moment was when he faced Rappa, a villain hired by the League of Villains with enough power to blow Red Riot away. Nevertheless, Eijiro mustered up every inch of willpower he could and stood his ground against insurmountable odds to protect his fellow Hero, Fatgum.
8Ingenium / Tenya Ida
Tenya Ida comes from a long line of Heroes, succeeding his brother and taking up the title Ingenium. In all of his activities, Ida shows his bravery as a hero and as a leader and class president of Class 1-A.

The ability to stand in front of one’s peers, direct them, scold them, and care for them takes extreme bravery that Ida demonstrates regularly. Even when making mistakes, Ida is his own worst critic. He has high standards to live up to, but still allows himself to grow thanks to his friends.
Eraserhead is perhaps the most unique hero on this list, whose bravery is unflinching even in the face of adversity. Gifted with the quirk to turn off other quirks (a gift that often seems overpowered), Aizawa-sensei spends most of his time as a hero looking evil in the eye.
While not fighting villains, Aizawa is a teacher; every day, he must face his students and mold them into the heroes of tomorrow. This takes an immense amount of bravery on its own, which puts him at number eight on the list.
6Froppy / Tsuyu Asui
Froppy is a hands-down fan-favorite character inMy Hero Academia. She makes the best of all her abilities, and is the wild card that everyone can count on in a pinch. The resident Rainy-Season hero has had many moments in which she shines, but her most noticeable is when she stood up to her friends.
After the final confrontation with All For One, when Midoriya and others broke the rules to investigate the league of villains, Froppy was very disheartened. But instead of keeping these painful feelings inside, she confronted her friends about how it made her feel. It takes a lot of bravery to be able to speak one’s mind, especially to friends.
5Hawks / Keigo Takami
As the number 2 hero, Hawks stands by Endeavor and protects the city. His wings allow him to fly at extremely high speeds, and he uses his feathers to fight and to aid his allies. Hawks is indeed a brave hero but what places him at number 5 on the list is the secret mission he has been charged with.
Hawks has been undercover with the league of villains for some time, under constant surveillance from both villains and the hero commission. Keeping his cool while in constant danger requires considerable bravery.
4Lemillion / Mirio Togata
Mirio is a shining example for the next generation of heroes. He is kind, trustworthy, dependable, and confident in his abilities. But what makes Mirio great is that he isn’t a hero because of his quirk; rather, he is a hero with a quirk.

Faced with a dire decision, Mirio did not hesitate to risk his livelihood to be a real hero and protect those who can’t protect themselves. Even in the face of losing his quirk, Lemillion did not falter, proving that he is a hero with or without it.
3Deku / Izuku Midoriya
Midoriya has not had it easy before or after becoming Allmight’s successor. He has had to endure rigorous training, broken bones, doubt, and constant battle. Seemingly born quirkless, Deku has had to make something from nothing; but inside, Deku has always understood the right thing to do.

Idolizing Heroes, he had adopted the courage it takes to be one, which has grown since his first day in Class A. Whether it’s running to save his bully, protecting his classmates, or rescuing a little girl, Deku will always do his best to do the right thing, regardless of how dangerous it is for himself.
2Allmight / Toshinori Yagi
The symbol of peace needs no explanation as to his spot on the list. The world’s number one hero brings hope to all when he arrives. Allmight, like Deku, was also born quirkless;his sensei saw him worthy of receiving One For All, and thus the symbol of peace was born.
Allmight has decades' worth of heroic deeds under his belt, but maybe his most profound is when he knew his time was at an end. In the final battle between him and All For One, Allmight knew that this would have to bid farewell to One For All, but he did not hesitate. He let go of his quirk and life as a hero, standing on his own two feet with his head held high.
1Eri
Eri makes it to number 1 on the list for obvious reasons. She had to endure an obscene amount of abuse at the hands of Overhaul because ofher time reverse quirk (which may be of interest to a previous threat).
Being prodded and experimented on to produce a weapon from her quirk left Eri hopeless. Her timid nature and the scars her childhood left on her have damaged her permanently. This makes it that much more impressive how she overcame her fear to allow herself to be saved. Letting go of one’s fear is not an easy task, but Eri did it and chose to try and live again with a smile, thanks to Lemillion and Deku.
