Summary
After six years since the last entry in theForza Motorsportseries, a new game has finally been released, and while it’sjust as visually impressiveand fast-paced as the previous games, it actually serves as a reboot to the series. The newest game features a staggering catalog of over 500 cars to choose from which players will be able to take for a spin on the twenty world-famous racetracks included in the game, so long as they have the right amount of cash, that is.
Players will receive credits each time they complete a race, but the easiest way to make a lot of money without needing to grind for hours on end isupping the difficultyto make the challenge more difficult which, in turn, offers more rewards. Additionally, the player will earn more credits the further back they start in a race, so while this might be a disadvantage in practice, it’s another great way to net some credits to acquire some of the best and most expensive vehicles in the game.
72017 Koenigsegg Agera RS (430,000 Credits)
Anyone who loves blitzing past their opponents at lighting speeds and doesn’t care too much about handling or breaking should think about purchasing Koenigsegg’s very own Agera RS. This car has themaximum amount of speedin the game, making it incredibly quick and capable of leaving other racers in the dust on some of the more straightforward tracks that don’t have too many awkward bends or turns.
It can seem pretty pricey on the surface, and it will take a little while to build up the credits necessary to buy it, but considering just how fast it is, the price is pretty reasonable for what one is getting. It also has an excellent acceleration stat at 7.8 which means even if it does hit the curb or struggle around a corner, it won’t take long to get back up to full speed.
62019 Aston Martin Valhalla Concept Car (431,000 Credits)
When it comes to unique designs, there are not many cars inForza Motorsportthat are quite as visually striking as the Valhalla Concept Car by Aston Martin. The sheen silver that coats the car gives it an extremelyvibrant and eye-catching lookthat can easily put other racers to shame when driving alongside them. It’s not just the looks that make this car so expensive though, due to the low front end, it has amazing acceleration, which can easily make up for any mistakes made on the track.
It’s pretty reliable in all stats, possessing pretty decent speed, along with good handling and braking, so while it might not be quite as fast as the Agera RS, it can still go from 0 to 100 in mere seconds, which makes it very forgiving and a real looker to take onto the road.
52018 Apollo Intensa Emozione (431,000 Credits)
The Apollo Intensa Emozione is very much a jack-of-all-trades which is quite surprising that it doesn’t excel in any area considering that it’s the same price as the Aston Martin Valhalla Concept Car. With that being said, in classic Apollo fashion, this car is still a real feast for the eyes, possessing an almost pitch-black coat of paint that shines in the daylight, but looks just as stunning at night too.
Still, while it might not be able to reach maximum speeds or accelerate with the press of the trigger, it’s great forplayers who just want to have an easy ridein a car that takes advantage of the upgraded visual technology featured inForza Motorsport. This also makes it ideal for new players who want a flashy new car that they can save up for without needing to be a master of the controls to use.
42019 Rimac Concept Two (432,000 Credits)
The Rimac Concept Two is admittedly a very hard car to control, especially because ofhow incredibly fast it can travel, but once players get a handle on the clunky navigation, they’ll have a true speed demon on their hands. It’s a far cry from the all-rounder that is the Apollo Intensa Emozione and instead prioritizes high speed and acceleration to make for one of the fastest cars in the entire game, which can immediately catch up to racers after a mistake or an accidental bump.
It’s pretty basic in its design and may not be quite as visually impressive as some of the other expensive cars in the game, but this isn’t the point of the car as it places all of its chips into the acceleration and speed stats. There are a few more expensive cars that are just as fast and much easier to control, butwhen it comes to reaching max speedas fast as possible, nothing does it quite as well as the Rimac Concept Two.
32019 RAESR Tachyon Speed (438,000 Credits)
Definitely one of the best-looking cars in the entire game and one that is essentially always guaranteed to outshine every other vehicle on the track, the RAESR Tachyon Speed is the ideal car for players who like darker color palettes and plenty of shine on their vehicle. The beauty of this car shows itself in thetracks that make use of dim lighting and weather effects, such as the brand new Suzuka Circut, where the RAESR Tachyon Speed will easily outshine every other car by a country mile in terms of visual spectacle.
Aside from its appearance though, this car doesn’t exactly impress in any of its stats, though it is admittedly still a great all-rounder that can reach high speeds, but the lackluster acceleration does make this a little difficult. Because of the fairly average stats, it’s quite surprising that this car is as expensive as it is, but this could be due to its appearance more than anything else.
22016 NIO EP9 (438,000 Credits)
Speaking of surprisingly expensive cars, the 2016 NIO EP9 isn’t anywhere near as fast as any of the other cars that hover around its price range. Instead, it places a much bigger emphasis on braking and handling. Now, this can most definitely be useful foranyone who prefers taking their timewith a race and letting their fellow racers make mistakes so that they can capitalize, but it does struggle to catch up in many scenarios.
This doesn’t need to be a drawback since it does mean the car will perform extremely well on tracks that contain sharp turns, such as the Grand Oak Raceway for example, but it will struggle on basic circuits like the Eaglerock Speedway. Admittedly, since they’re both the same price, it’s probably best for players to invest in the Raesr Tachyon Speed over the NIO EP9, but there’s also no harm in buying the EP9 formore methodical and strategicracers.
12020 Koenigsegg Jesko (450,000 Credits)
The 2020 Koenigsegg Jesko is a true powerhouse when it comes to speed which is tied with the Agera RS for being the fastest car in the game, but it’s also a lot more detailed than that car in the way it looks. Unlike many ofthe expensive carsin the game, the Koenigsegg Jesko has a very bright appearance that contains an elegant blend of white and silver that helps make it a real standout.
Still, since it doesn’t falter in any single area and has at least decent stats in acceleration, braking, and handling. It will serve the driver well on pretty much every track in the game, and of course, it’s more than capable of landing in first place thanks to itsimmense speed. If players manage to save up enough credits and want a vehicle that will easily outshine its competition regarding speed, it’s not a bad idea to purchase the Koenigsegg Jesko.
