Alongside a brand-new story,Mortal Kombat 1features plenty of new mechanics such as Kameo fightersthat can be called upon during a match to assist the player with throws, counters, combo extenders, and even Fatalities. However, players also began to discover that the Quitality mechanic has also returned for this latest iteration.
Originally introduced in 2015’sMortal Kombat X,Quitalities result during onlineMortal Kombatmatcheswhen one player decides to leave mid-match. Not only does the other player get the victory, but their opponent’s character explodes to some degree suddenly to cap of the match. Even as the firstMortal Kombat 1comes to a close, it appears to have been a big success for NetherRealm Studios with a high demand from fans. On sites like eBay, codes were being sold for a variety of prices ranging from $180 to over $800.
