While there may not be much use for a single diamond, once the player discovers many villages, they may have enough in their inventory to create a proper armor set, weapons, and tools. This will put them at an advantage before all the threats a superflat world presents.

They could either stay in one village and occasionally leave to hunt for resources or become a nomad and journey from one village to another while having no single place to call home. Both methods are equally valid and have advantages, yet choosing one earlier rather than later is wise.
4Navigate:
Avoid getting lost
Navigating a superflat world can be tricky, especially if you choose the nomad lifestyle. The terrain is identical, and there are no natural indicators of where the player is except occasional villages. This means it’s easily possible to wander into the same village or lose track.
It would be wise to mark every village the player has visited with a pillar, so they know not to waste time on a place that has already been looted. Learning or writing the coordinates of specific landmarks can also be a boon as it will allow the player to easily return to those places.
3Fortify the Village:
Turning home into a fortress
If players decide to stay in one village, they must ensure it’s a fitting place for a prolonged life. A key step to this is ensuring that it is safe. Build a wall around your village and ensure the area inside is well-lit, preventing any hostile mobs from spawning and entering it. This will ensure that players don’t have to worry about the day and night cycle in their playthrough.
After that, the player can create farms and other useful structures within the confines of the new space they created, making avillage its own ecosystem.
2Mining:
Remember the rules
Mining isn’t possible in every superflat world, yet in those that it is, it is easily one of the primary sources of receiving resources, similar to the standard world. In a super flat world, mining is made easier because there are no naturally-spawning caves, making it much harder to fall into a pit of lava if players dig directly under themselves.
Still, with structures like Strongholds and Mineshafts still generating, it would be wise to remember thegolden mining rulesand create a descending ladder instead of digging directly above or underneath oneself.
1Nether Prospects:
Enter the Underworld
When players are geared enough, it might be the time to enter theNether itself. Unlike the Overworld, the Nether is not affected by the super flat state of the world and follows standard generation patterns. Getting into the Nether might be harder in the superflat world, as it would require a lot of looting for obsidian, but it is possible, nonetheless.
Nether is as dangerous and unwelcoming as in any other type of world, so it is recommended for the player to prepare and have a full set of armor on them, ideally with some diamond components. If they are ready, however, the Nether can provide many resources to help them survive and find the way to the End.
