What To Do With A Fire Charge

There are both beautiful and dangerous ways to use a Fire Charge inMinecraft. Those looking to live dangerously canuse a Fire Charge to ignite fires, which can also be done in a couple ways. Players can use the Fire Charge as a replacement for Flint and Steel. This meansusing the item on a block will light it on fire, which means it can light TNT and Nether Portals.

On top of that, it can also be fired out of a dispenser. This is similar to a Blaze firing a fireball at a player. If it makes a direct hit on any living entity, it can deal up to nine hearts of damagethrough both the direct hit plus additional loss of health from the fire. UnlikeGhast Fireballs, these Fire Charges can’t be deflected.

Fireworks in Minecraft

There is a less dangerous method of using Fire Charges, and that is turning them into Fireworks.Combining a Fire Charge with a single piece of gunpowder and a specific-colored dye can turn the charge into a Firework Star. This star can then be placed in a crafting table with a piece of paper and some gunpowder to create a Firework Rocket that can be fired into the sky.
