Even though the bulk ofMarvel Snapcards feature iconic male heroes and villains, the girls have decent representation, too, with some of the biggest game-changers up for offer. Nebula andKitty Pryde have brought the ladies backinto the limelight during theGuardians of the Galaxyevent, proving that power doesn’t always have to cost a fortune!

Creating a girl-powered deck may come with its own set of hurdles, depending on the player’s gaming style. However, it does spice things up when one feels like a challenge and is bored of the typical tried-and-tested combos. Have some fun and test theMarvelmaidens' boundaries with the following powerhouses.

7Agent 13, Elektra, Kitty Pryde, Nebula

Agent 13is not only useful for Collector or Dino enthusiasts, as her ability can oftentimes summon a game-changing powerhouse into the player’s hand. Sure, it’s always a gamble, but at such a low cost, it’s well worth it!Elektrais another undervalued gem who is regularly played far too early in the game. Keeping this girl in hand may eliminate a 1 Cost vexation from the running and unexpectedly tip the scales in the player’s favor.

Nebula and Kitty Prydehave dominatedMarvel Snap’sGuardian of the Galaxyevent and are arguably the most potent 1 Cost cards across the board. These girls substantially influence gameplay (particularly if they are available early game) making their presence known as either the greatest blessing or curse on the board.

6Angela, Armor, Colleen Wing, Okoye

Angela’sintense popularity may have cost her a Power point, but this girl is still quite useful, nonetheless (especially if Kitty is around to activate Angela’s booster every round!) Meanwhile,Armoris obviously great at her initial intention, but keeping her around simply to counter destructive strategies is both satisfying and successful (for the most part.)

Speaking of destruction,Colleen Wingwill eliminate the lowest cost card in hand; however, the +5 Power advantage usually makes that sacrifice worthwhile. Just make sure Kitty is in play when Colleen’s ability gets activated! When it comes to 2 Cost cards,Okoyeshould be the first to get in on the action so that her +1 Power booster canaffect as many deck cardsas possible.

5Wolfsbane, Ironheart, Lady Sif, Polaris

Several 3-Cost girls would make great additions toanyMarvel Snapdeck;however, in many cases (such as Mystique or Black Cat), their benefits are unreliable. For the best results,Wolfsbaneshould be played as the last card in a location and is a great secret weapon to pull out in the final rounds. On the other hand,Ironheart’slack of power can be detrimental although in most cases, her triple power booster makes up for it.

Lady Sifmay cost players dearly depending on which card is sacrificed, particularly in an all-female deck, with no Apocalypse or the likes to be seen. But she works well with the other ladies of destruction, while her +4 Power advantage is nothing to scoff at. Lastly,Polariscan effectively mess with the opponent’s carefully assembled strategy and potentially topple the balance of power enough for that well-deserved win.

4Jessica Jones, Rescue, Shuri, Enchantress, Typhoid Mary

WhileEnchantressis an acceptable counter by anyone’s standards, negating all Ongoing abilities at a location is not a decision to make lightly; it all depends on the cards in hand.Jessica JonesandRescueproduce a pretty similar result with opposing consequences on their respective locations, so only one of these ladies is really necessary for a deck (unless one manages to use them back-to-back, becoming the recipient of +17 Power.)

Potentially a more potent Power booster comes in the form ofShuri, so long as Professor X or another limiting restriction doesn’t pop up to foil one’s plans. Ensure those mathematical brains are turned on before addingTyphoid Maryto the board, as her Ongoing ability could be dangerous in the long run. However, she couples well withEnchantress, which is a handy hint to keep in mind.

3Gamora, Magik, Spider-Woman, Stature

White Tigeris a fan-favorite with Wong in tow, although she may prove to be a bit too unpredictable for a girls-only deck.Gamorais great for players who excel at predicting their opponent’s next move and could radically improve the chances for victory. It’s a nice twist that Gamora and Nebula work well together, as a poeticEaster Egg forGuardians of the Galaxyfans.

Magikgives players more room to work with. AllMarvel Snapgames should arguably be seven rounds, as the extra turn and Energy opens up a world of possibilities! Meanwhile,Spider-Womanregularly dominates upon arrival, with her +8 and (potentially) -4 Energy dispersion. And alongside a Polaris or Shuri, this gal has all the makings of a winner.Stature, on the other hand, is only worthwhile on certain occasions. However, seeing how popular discard decks are, the odds of having a +7 Power 1 Cost card in hand look pretty good!

2America Chavez, Hela, Knull, Death

The girls have bagged some pretty awesome power cards inMarvel Snap, even if the majority of potent high-cost cards feature males.America Chavezis a convenient safety net for round 6, as players can always depend on her service.Helais great in certain situations but needs support from other discard cards. However, a successful Hela setup is so unpredictable that most opponents simply cannot counter the attack.

Knull andDeathare the dream queenswhen it comes to profiting off destruction, and can easily overpower the best of strategies with brute force. If things work out smoothly, it’s even possible to play both of these babes in the final round; a surefire way to win! Unfortunately, the other girls aren’t as keen on destruction as the boys, but there are several destructive locations to play around with, too.

1Girl Powered Combos

Shuri and Kitty Prydeare a deadly combo, especially if saved for the final round, where Kitty is at the height of her power. In this case, it’s beneficial to keep Elektra on hand to throw a spanner in the works while using up that remaining 1 Energy. Dishing outWavewhileNebulais in play can be particularly vexing for an opponent attempting to counter the assassin with low-cost cards while dominating other locations with their spare Energy.

The Ladies of Destruction, better known asDeath, Knull, Lady Sif, and Helahave the potential to overpower any strategy with sheer power and brute force. Obviously, things will work out better if a Carnage orVenom snuck into this deck, butElektra,Black Cat, Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and Colleen Wingcould help out in this matter, too.
