Lost Ark’s launch has been both wildly successful and a complete mess. Queue times for certain servers are astronomical, and some regions have no servers without queues. Maintenances have pulled downLost Arkservers and regions for extended periods of time. Then there’s the fact that someLost Arkplayers are having technical problems in-game, with servers not working right, losing track of player privileges, or outright kicking players. The worst issue withLost Ark, however, is two new mysterious errors that prevent players from even joining queues.

First, the W0x2 error has surged on Sunday inLost Arkand players have no idea what it is or how they can fix it. Players openLost Arkto try and start playing or join theirserver’s wait queueonly to receive the message “Cannot Connect to the server. Exiting the game. [W0x2-0PELPWN1N2NT]” before their server list even loads. Restarting the game doesn’t appear to fix the problem, either. Nothing appears to fix the problem.

A second error has also been spreading just as fast as the W0x2 error. The 10027 error tells Lost Arc players “We’re sorry. Cannot connect to the server due to heavy traffic [10027]” and occurs at the same time as the W0x2 error, as players are opening theMMO.

There doesn’t appear to be any notable difference between the W0x2 error and the 10027, which perhaps means that they’re the same error or are appearing for the same reason. That reason would, assumedly, be thatLost Ark’s servers are being overloaded so badly that it isn’t even able to update players' server lists upon login. In which case, the only recourse players have is to wait for other players to stop trying to log in or forAmazonto dedicate more server power toLost Ark.

It isn’t clear how many players are being impacted by the two errors, but judging from Twitter and Reddit that number is significant. And, it bears repeating, the error is just gatekeeping players fromjoiningLost Ark’s queueswhere they’ll spend hours upon hours waiting. There are layers of frustration here that don’t seem to be improving.

As for whatLost Arkplayers can do in the meantime, there’s no simple answer. Perhaps it’s best to put off playingLost Arkuntil next week or whenever Amazon is able to make improvements to the MMO’s server structure. At the very least, players should wait forAmazon to acknowledge these errorsand offer some insight into what’s going on and when the problem will be solved.
