Sangonomiya Kokomi is one of the most underrated characters inGenshin Impact. Considering her role as a healer, players often assume that healing is all she does, but that’s far from the truth. Kokomican do so much more than healing, as she’s well-equipped to deal damage, apply Hydro, and even provide various buffs with specific builds.
Naturally,Kokomi’s weapon inGenshin Impactplays a huge role in determining how well she will perform in different jobs. For instance, Everlasting Moonglow is an all-rounder for her kit, but it won’t come close to how good Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers is at providing a buff for ATK-scaling DPS.

Thanks to the existence of powerful Catalyst-Hydro-HP-scaling DPS such as Neuvillette and Mualani, Kokomi also benefits from the increase in available Catalysts in Genshin Impact.

After dealing damage to an opponent with an Elemental Skill, the skill has a 80% chance to end its own CD. Can only occur once every 16s.
Sacrificial Fragmentshas two jobs as Kokomi weapon inGenshin Impact. The first is to enhance herElemental Mastery for a Bloom team, while the second is to ensure her Elemental Skill is always available to heal or apply Hydro. With Sacrificial Fragments and Kokomi’s ability to refresh the duration of her Skill when casting her Elemental Burst, her Bake-Kurage will practically stay on the field forever.
30.6% Energy Recharge
After the character equipped with this weapon triggers an Electro elemental reaction, nearby party members of an Elemental Type involved in the elemental reaction receive a 20% Elemental DMG Bonus for their element, lasting 6s. Elemental Bonuses gained in this way cannot be stacked.
Hakushin Ringis a niche weapon for Kokomi, where its main purpose is to buff Electro and Hydro DPS in the team. As long as Kokomitriggers Electro-charged, the team will enjoy a 20% DMG bonus for Electro and Hydro characters.

When switching characters, the new character taking the field has their ATK increased by 48% for 10s. This effect can only occur once every 20s.
TheThrilling Tales of Dragon Slayersis a good choice for players not looking to use Kokomi offensively. The weapon increases ATK for a teammate after switching Kokomi off the field, allowing her to heal and apply a brief attack boost. In addition, the Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers is the most accessible weapon for Sangonomiya Kokomi, as it hasa rarity of three stars.

When an attack hits an opponent, deal AoE DMG equal to 80% of Max HP at the target location. This effect can be triggered once every 15s.
Ash-Graven Drinking Horn’s passive is on themehside for Kokomi since she won’t really benefit from the AoE DMG. Not only does it trigger only once every 15s, but it also won’t be enhanced by Crit, since Kokomi has a minus Crit value. However, it’sstill a great F2P weapongiven its HP sub-stat.
Using an Elemental Burst regenerates 6 Energy every 2s for 6s. All party members will regenerate 6% HP every 2s for this duration.
Compared to Everlasting Moonglow,Prototype Amberis a far more accessible weapon for Kokomi. The weapon increases Energygenerated from an Elemental Burst, which is great for players looking to build Kokomi with better damage components. In addition, the Prototype Amber regenerates health for teammates after using Kokomi’s Burst, as well as boosting her health stats.
Using an Elemental Skill grants the Jade-Forged Crown effect: Every 1,000 Max HP will increase the Normal Attack DMG dealt by the equipping character by 1% for 10s. Normal Attack DMG can be increased this way by a maximum of 32%.
Ring of Yaxcheis an excellent offensive weapon for Kokomi, as it can boost her Normal Attack DMG by up to 32%, depending on her HP. This option is more offensive compared to Prototype Amber, and worksbest if the team has another Hydro characterto fill Kokomi’s Energy.

Healing Bonus increased by 10%, Normal Attack DMG is increased by 1% of the Max HP of the character equipping this weapon. For 12s after using an Elemental Burst, Normal Attacks that hit opponents will restore 0.6 Energy. Energy can be restored this way once every 0.1s.
Everlasting Moonglow is the best weapon for Kokomi inGenshin Impact, which is not surprising since it’s made as her signature weapon. It’s the best option for both healer and DPS Kokomi, as it boosts HP, Healing Bonus, and evenhas a passive Energy restorationwhen Kokomi uses Normal Attack in her Burst state.
Healer Kokomi can skip on this weapon as the other F2P options are more than enough if players only need healing, but Travelers who want to play DPS Kokomi should consider getting this Catalyst to maximize her power on the battlefield.
