The anticipated sequel toJurassic World Evolutionis here. With all of the game’s improvements and adjustments, fans who played the first game are welcomedback to Jurassic Parkwith open arms, and newer players have four new modes to play as they get their barrings. Newer players seem to be at an advantage over the older ones, asJurassic World Evolution 2changes the formula and has fans guessing where certain important features are. Frontier Developments has madelearning how to researchrather tricky to find.

In the firstJurassic World Evolution, there were two ways to unlock new dinosaurs and new features. It was either that players completed missions and contracts, or researched it themselves for a sum of money. Some features were locked behind one method while not being available in the other, but most unlockables came through research. This is whereJWE2changes things up a bit.

How to Unlock Research in Jurassic World Evolution 2

Jurassic World Evolution 2gives fans a new wayto unlock some items in the game by simply encountering them in other modes. Players who start the Campaign mode first will get the Allosaurus in the second stage, for instance. However, one of the first thingsfans can build in Chaos Theory mode and in Challenge mode is the Science Center, enabling them to research to their heart’s content.

How to Complete Research in JWE2

Once fans can use the Science Center just as it was used inthe firstJurassic World Evolutiongame, they can broaden their strengths in three categories in particular - species, welfare, and structures. Some nodes are locked behind missions, such as making players get their parks to 2 stars or higher before researching it.

Once fans locate a node that’s glowing blue for them, they can hire scientists to look into the node and eventually unlock it after a small amount of time. However, the requirements for scientists are still in play here, as staff needs to be trained to a certain level altogether in their respective fields to complete the tasks.

Some of these modes, like Challenge mode, may give players the trained scientists they need to blow through a few nodes as part of their overall goal. This should be noted and taken advantage of, as the nodes will help in the long run with things just likethe appeal metric inJurassic World Evolution 2.
