Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtreeboasts an impressive 30 new armor sets, giving the players the option tobling out in entirely new gear. Though, of course, these unique armors also have useful practical functions.
That being said, players also received some non-set armor pieces that can be mixed and matched with other sets to create unique looks. One of these isSalza’s Hood, a magician’s head armor that has a beautiful light red color to reflect the amount of blood you’ll spill with it.
Salza’s Hood Overview
Hood of Salza, sage of the Fire Knights.
A prodigious amount of cloth wound around it, giving the impression of a greatly swollen head, and wearing it increases intelligence.
A disciple of the elder Wego, he refused to burn down an old ruin, at the risk of his own life.
InElden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, theSalza’s Hood is a unique piecefor the head. It weighs 3.8 and doesn’t boast any spectacular stats, but it buffs the player when worn byincreasing their INT by 2 points.
The hood is worn by a Fire Knight and has the same esthetics as the Fire Knight armor set, making it a great replacement for theFire Knight Helm. In fact, the headpiece works well in anyINT-centric builddue to its +2 INT effect.

Where To Find Salza’s Hood Location
InElden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, players can find Salza’s Hood if they defeat Salza, the sage of the Fire Knights. He can be found at the end of the bridge leading west fromthe West Ramparts site of grace.
Salza will wield dual daggers, and will buffet the players withRain of Fireincantations as they approach him. Make sure to wear fire-resistant armor and buff yourself with consumables to reach him without getting too badly hurt. Additionally, you can reach Salza by riding Torrent across the bridge. After killing him, players will receive boththe Rain of Fire Incantationand Salza’s Hood as a reward.
