Like the base game ofElden Ring, theShadow of the ErdtreeDLC features many caves and areas with minimal light. Fortunately, you may bring your own light using torches or spells. If you’re looking for a torch that also helps in dealing with enemies, then you should aim to acquire Nanaya’s Torch.
This torch isn’t easy to obtain, as you’ll need to traverse a maze-like building while avoiding enemies. However, it’s worth the effort due to its unique skill. This guide provides an overview ofNanaya’s Torch, along with its location.
Where To Get Nanaya’s Torch In Elden Ring
Nanaya’s Torch can be found at Midra’s Mansein the Abyssal Woods. Your first task should be to fast travel to Midra’s Hall Site of Grace. Once there, look to your left, and you should see a painting of a house. The painting is an illusion; go through it either by dodging into it or by striking it.
Head straight and turn right at the end, avoiding the enemy with a giant sword. Go to the hallway on your left and then take two right turns, followed by a left turn. Pull the lever and head to the east side of the room. There should be a ladder here; go up and exit the door to your left. Take a right when you reach the balcony.
Climb the staircase in front of you and carefully navigate the broken floor to the end of the hallway. Continue straight until you see another Site of Grace. Reach the balcony in front of you and head down using the ladder to your right. Once there, head to the room to your east and go through anothergiant illusionary painting. Go up the staircase and climb the ladder. Pull the lever in front of you.
Jump down to the platform on your right and then again to the top of the bookshelves. Head to the balcony to your west and take a left turn. You should see a corpse sitting on a chair at the end. Pillage the remains to acquire Nanaya’s Torch.

A torch made by attaching a dying flame of frenzy to a small spinal column. In a distant land, in an age long past, was born a man who failed to become the Lord of Frenzied Flame. All that remains of him is cradled gently by Nanaya.
Nanaya’s Torchscales primarily with Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, and Faith. It comes with the unique weapon skill Feeble Lord’s Frenzied Flame, which isn’t available on any other items, making it a valuable acquisition. This skill allows the Tarnished to ignite a flame that inflicts the Madness status on both enemies and the caster, so it should be used carefully. The skill can be charged and used while moving.
Nanaya’s Torch cannot beinfused with an Ash of Warof your choosing, but it can be upgraded to +10 using Somber Smithing Stones.
